EXPERIENCE THE PANORAMA CITY CENTER

The Heart of the Valley will be re-energized with the introduction of the Panorama City Center, the expansion of the Panorama Mall into a 17-acre site that today is significantly underutilized. The redevelopment project brings a dynamic mixed-use environment including shopping, sit-down restaurants, health and wellness services, event gathering destinations, a range of housing options, and remote working areas. Landscaped paths and pedestrian accessible centers will provide areas for the community and residents to gather, socialize and serve as a safe and family-friendly destination for shopping, dining, and leisure, while promoting a healthy & balanced lifestyle with fitness options for all.

LOCATION

Located in the Heart of the Valley, one of the most ethnically and economically diverse communities in Los Angeles, and at the center of the landmark Panorama Mall, the Panorama City Center sits within a block radius, bounded by Van Nuys, Roscoe, Tobias Avenue, and Chase Street. Conveniently located steps away from the anticipated Metro Van Nuys Line and the North San Fernando Valley Line, expected in 2028, it will become one of the most accessible locations in the City.  Specifically, Panorama City Center will be oriented to the proposed Metro Van Nuys light rail line, which will connect with other major urban centers throughout the City

PRIMESTOR

Driven by a need to repair and revitalize our urban communities, Primestor was founded 30 years ago to invest, manage and develop properties that will have a direct and positive impact on the communities we serve.

Primestor believes that in order to make a project truly rewarding and enriching to the community, it is essential to collaborate and partner with community stakeholders, local business organizations, local non-profits, financial institutions and our elected leaders. We believe that the work we do matters, and that it has a direct and daily impact on the people in the neighborhoods we serve.

  • Primestor has been active in the San Fernando Valley for over 25 years.
  • Community engagement for our projects is extensive and thorough.
  • The redevelopment of the Panorama Mall is a collaboration with the City of Los Angeles and local community stakeholders.
  • We participate in local stakeholder meetings including the Panorama City Neighborhood Council and are members of the Panorama Chamber of Commerce.

COMMUNITY

Early conversations with community organizations started in 2016. Community engagement recommenced in early 2021 with a series of meetings with community stakeholder groups. A second round of conversations with community stakeholder groups is underway to provide project updates and information about the steering committee being formed which will be comprised of stakeholders across all sectors.

EVENTS

Community wide events will be held throughout the year. The meetings will be held within different locations throughout Panorama to provide several opportunities to participate. Meeting schedule will be posted and updated regularly and can be accessed on our website and social media platforms.
